This is one of my published steam games in which I am a project manager and an engineer for. It is an open world FPS with an emphasis on looting. Your goal is to traverse the terrain, find and loot gear, kill enemies to rank up, unlock better items and abilities, and take out all existing alien hives on the map. Managing a team of 7, including myself, have had quite an experience making this game. Making sure to work with both artists and the programmers (like myself), is key making development go as smoothly as possibly. The largest difficulty we have faced was inserting character rigs and animations from our artists into our enemy AI. Programming on this game was an amazing experience. As my first real project in Unreal Engine, I managed to learn many different things from materials, to code structure, and design. We have tried our best to create modular systems for us to play with a whole lot of different experiences within the gameplay. For example, our gun class allows for 9 different types of guns to be created in the game. Developing this game and working with this team was a lot of fun and brought me great Unreal Engine experience.
